Sunset at Laguna Beach

It looks like the desert, but it's part of Disneyland's newest attraction, "Cars Land."

The detail work on the landscape is just awesome.  It looks like the real thing.

If you look carefully, you'll see the piece of bread (top middle) that we tossed into the air.

As soon as we started doing that, the gulls came from everywhere.

A brutally hot summer followed by a dry early autumn set the stage for some muted colors in the foliage this year, but there was one perfect day on Skyline Drive.

 

Fall 2011 - Round 2

Fall colors were supposed to be at peak this weekend, but 6 straight days of rain capped by two days of 30-40 mph winds pretty much ended this year's leaf season.
But there were still a few interesting shots to be had.
